Apr 5, 2008 - To all of you who consume grains and seeds. Please look into how traditional societies ate them. Please look into fermentation. It is vitally important for your health. Please Natalie make a video about fermenting grains if your going to promote their benefits. Cooking them like most of you simply do is not good for you. Grains used to ground into coarse flour and then soaked in water (often acidic by adding whey or lemon juice) for days before cooking in order to make them more digestible...

Apr 5, 2008 - awesome!!!!! thank you! i would like to know good foods for a healthy complexion and no more pimples and dry skin. i drink so much water and take daily supplements with veggies and fruits (but not too much) and i still have horrible skin. please help :(

fredoreo Says:

Apr 5, 2008 - I got rid of skin problems when I stopped eating things such as sugar, grains and chocolate. But we're all different so you'll need to experiment by cutting out one type of food at a time. If I were you I would cut out grains (including buckwheat) and wait a couple of weeks. Industrial, pasteurized dairy is also a culprit.

byrne16 Says:

Apr 6, 2008 - My skin problems were caused by eating a low fat diet. By introducing high amounts of quality fats into the diet the skin problems went away. Raw avocados, raw coconut cream (fresh coconut meat put throught a vegetable juicer), and raw milk, butter, cheese, and cream are all wonderful for your skin.. I rarely eat grain anymore either.

fredoreo Says:

Apr 6, 2008 - Agreed. Good quality raw fats (especially from animals) are essential to the proper functioning of our body. Raw egg yolks are also great. Unfortunately these fats have been villainized for all diseases when in reality it's the carbohydrates in sugar, grains and starches that are the true culprit.

Apr 6, 2008 - I find this video to be much too educationaland enjoyable to be confined to YT.Natalie needs to be on a major cable network to appeal to the demographic of real peoplein any age group who appreciate informationregarding reality. That automatically excludes Fixed News.

psychetruth Says:

Apr 6, 2008 - Well if you know a producer, send them our way. LOL. Her videos get uploaded to 11 different internet websites by the way. YouTube also recently signed a deal with TiVo and soon all YouTube Video will be searchable over cable TV.

Apr 6, 2008 - I've never tried buckwheat & have only heard of it in the song Oh! Suzanna. Will try. Is it good raw or does it HAVE to be cooked?

psychetruth Says:

Apr 6, 2008 - Ok, sorry about that. I fixed the link.

JuciShockwave Says:

Apr 7, 2008 - Oooo new food to add to the list. I'll see if my bf would try this, since he is going on a new diet for better health. Thanks for making these videos on what to eat, so many times than not videos talk about what not to eat and don't state what is good. Again thank you.

May 26, 2008 - This has been very helpful, especially for those of us who are gluten intolerant! I love that it is not a grain, but can function as a grain in nutrition!
