We did a drive by yesterday of the fire before they closed off the road. We did take some video footage but am still trying to get it off our phone, but here's a montage of photos we took.The blaze claimed the life of one firefighter, and seriously injured others. The plme of smoke could be seen as far away as Pirongia and Matamata (about 50 miles)
